THE WIGGLE CHAIR

The Wiggle Chair was origionaly designed by architect Frank Gehry for a group of scientists and artists from NASA which led to the Easy Edges collection of similarly designed furniture. I spent over 4 months working on recreating the design just from pictures. Using a similer technique as Frank did with cardboard i used layered plywood with an alternating 5-piece pattern per layer. I spent another 3 months assembling a total of 130 peices to create what you see now.
